Mackenzie Picardy, LCSW

Mackenzie Picardy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology before completing her Master’s degree in Social Work with a certificate in Trauma Practice at Simmons University in 2024. Mackenzie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges by creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment.


Prior to joining Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem (PAGS), Mackenzie worked at the Epstein Behavioral Health Unit at Salem Hospital as a Social Worker, providing both case management and therapy services to adult and pediatric clients. Through this experience, Mackenzie developed extensive knowledge in supporting individuals and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges and life transitions.


Mackenzie utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused interventions. She is committed to providing culturally responsive and compassionate care while working with clients from diverse backgrounds and honoring each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.


Mackenzie believes therapy is a collaborative process and strives to empower clients by building self-awareness, developing effective coping skills, and creating meaningful change. She works alongside clients to identify their strengths and support them in navigating challenges with resilience and confidence.


Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys staying active, occasionally taking on the challenge of running a marathon, and spending time walking and adventuring with her black lab.
