Sam Reichgut, LCSW
Sam Reichgut, LCSW, joined PAGS in June of 2026 as a Clinical Social Worker. Sam earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Simmons University and completed a certificate in Trauma Practice. Sam is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where young people feel safe to express themselves, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to navigate life's challenges.
Sam has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents in a variety of behavioral health settings, including residential group homes, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Prior to becoming a therapist, Sam worked in the medical field as an EMT and Emergency Room Technician, experiences that fostered a calm, compassionate approach to helping others during times of crisis.
Sam believes that healing happens through connection, collaboration, and recognizing each person's unique strengths. A trauma-informed approach is at the heart of Sam's practice, with a commitment to meeting every child, adolescent, and family where they are in their journey. Sam’s practice is individualized to each client's needs by drawing from a variety of evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, play, and expressive arts interventions. Whether helping clients build coping skills, process difficult experiences, or express themselves through creativity and play, Sam strives to make therapy engaging, empowering, and meaningful.
Outside of the therapy room, Sam enjoys swimming, arts and crafts, line dancing, and spending time with her cat, Jojo.
